CA Aarti Lahoti: Aarti Mam as a narrator It is my great pleasure to share with you my experience as a faculty member for CA Final and CA Intermediate courses. For over a decade, I have had the honor of imparting my knowledge of the subject of audit to thousands of students. My journey as a teacher began immediately after I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Pursuing my articleship at Deloitte Haskins & Sells helped me gain valuable audit experience in different industries, which gave me a practical understanding of the business world. It was my passion for teaching that led me to impart my knowledge to students and help them develop a clear understanding of the subject. As you are probably aware, many CA students struggle with the subject of audit, partly due to a lack of concept-driven training techniques and a lack of guidance on presentation aspects. However, I am committed to bridging this gap and changing this perception. My approach involves combining practical insights for conceptual clarity with mnemonics for retention. I create charts in the classroom while explaining the concepts and provide detailed analysis of the Standards on Auditing. Through my unique pedagogy, my students develop a clear understanding of the subject and a renewed interest, which ultimately contributes to their success in the CA exams. I am humbled by the rave reviews I have received for my practical yet amusing approach to teaching. My fundamentally sound concepts have been instrumental in laying good building blocks for students, and I am widely regarded as the most dynamic faculty for Audit across India. Through video lectures and virtual classes, I have reached out to CA students from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
